    Hello,

To clean the shell on your Echo (2nd Generation), first remove the shell from the device. To do this:

    1. Unplug the power adapter from your device.

    2. Hold the shell in one hand, and then press the button on the bottom of the device until the device is released from the shell.

Clean the shell with a soft cloth that is slightly damp with water. Be careful not to wipe it with anything abrasive or to use any harsh chemicals.

If you want to clean your Amazon Echo (2nd Generation) yourself then first you need to remove the shell from the device very carefully. Unplug the power adapter from your device and hold the shell in one hand. Then press the button on the bottom of the device. Remove shell carefully and clean it with clean soft cloth. On this way you can easily clean your device shell yourself.

To restart your device, unplug the power adapter from the back of the device or from the wall outlet. Then, plug the power adapter back in. To reset your Echo device that has volume buttons: Press and hold the Microphone off and Volume down buttons at the same time until the light ring turns orange (about 20 seconds).
