WILL ADIDAS INTRODUCE THIS BRAND NEW CS2 STYLE OF THE NMD ?

In the months of January, adidas had dropped a black colorway of the NMD R1 model and the very month, i.e. February, they dropped another yellow colorway of their Primeknit-equipped. Considering that Spring was approaching in March, the Three Stripes decided to introduce a “Camo Pack” of the NMD PK, which is on its way to retailers on May 21st. At this very moment, there is no doubt that the adidas NMD is extremely popular and sought after. Hence, it is not surprising that the Three Stripes have been working on an entirely brand new and never-before-seen style of the silhouette that will arrive soon.

The photos seen here do not directly come from adidas, rather Twitter user was the one who tweeted them. To some extent, this new NMD style looks similar to the “PK,” especially resembling the NMD “City Sock PK” that is slated to hit the shelves sometime soon. However, it is likely obvious that this design is entirely brand new and features quite a few modifications when compared to the “PK.” This upcoming NMD style has been dubbed the “CS2” and apparently adidas was not ready to unveil it just yet, but sneakerheads are still getting an early first look.

The NMD CS2 joins the group of adidas sneakers that feature a Primeknit construction because that is the material its uppers are made up of. The uppers of this NMD style also appear to be covered in disruptive patterns that somewhat resemble digital camouflage. It is also arguable that the NMD CS2 is more reminiscent of the chukka NMD sneakers instead of its runners. Apart from these two photos that are featured here, not much is known about this upcoming NMD style and sneakerheads will not be able to get their hands on it anytime soon.

Sneakerheads will indeed be able to grab colorways from the NMD “Camo Pack” at a price of $170 each from adidas Originals retailers on May 21st. However, the retail debut of the adidas NMD CS2 is being rumored for Spring 2017, which means it does not arrive until next year.
